Laundry pickup-and-delivery service HappyNest has expanded into the Lexington, Ky., market.
“As we build our brand in the southeast region, we have several key markets where we want to find the best operators, and Lexington is one of them,” said HappyNest founder John MacKrell. “Joe Dan and Kelli Reed and their eight Splash ’Em Out laundries dominate the Lexington and Richmond markets, and we wanted to have them as part of the HappyNest family.”
The Reeds, established business owners in Lexington since 2001, got into the laundry business in 2010 when they recognized a need in the community and wanted to help.
“Kelli and I had been looking to expand our janitorial business for a while, and the laundry industry was a perfect fit,” Joe Dan explained. “I have seen a need for a laundry delivery service over the past year or so but wasn’t sure how to begin or what to expect for results. After meeting the HappyNest team at the Clean Show in New Orleans, I was confident they could help me launch my service, acquire new customers and support me along the way.”
“Also, they provide all of the backend support, which alleviated that added struggle,” Kelli noted.
Splash ’Em Out customers can now schedule pickup and delivery service with HappyNest throughout the greater Lexington and Richmond areas.
