Your HappyNest Laundry Bag

For your first pickup, place your laundry in any bag clearly marked with your name and “For HappyNest”. We recommend a plastic or cloth bag and ask that you do not use hampers or boxes as they might get damaged during transportation. You will receive your blue HappyNest laundry bag(s) upon drop off, which you can use for all future pickups.

Schedule A Pickup

If you haven’t done so already, schedule a pickup. You can schedule online or through our app which is available in both the Apple and Google app stores.

Your First Pickup

Our drivers start driving their routes as early as 7 a.m. and may continue making pickups and drop-offs into the evening. On the day of your pickup, we’ll notify you by email, text, or through the HappyNest app (depending on your preferences) of your driver’s estimated arrival time. If you want to receive text notifications, make sure you’ve opted in from the “Notifications” tab in your account.

Simply leave your filled HappyNest bag - no sorting required! - outside your door. You’ll receive a second notification when our driver has collected your laundry.
Please be aware that our drivers may contact you from their personal cell phone when they arrive.

Additional Pickup and Delivery Instructions

If our driver will need any special instructions to find your laundry - or gate or key codes - make sure to include that information in the “Additional Pickup Instructions” in your account.

Laundry Preferences

We promise to do your laundry exactly the way you want it done. We suggest you take a minute and review your detergent, softener, dryer, bleach, and folding preferences. Any additional concerns? Let us know in the “Additional Laundry Instructions”.

We’ll Stay In Touch

We understand that communication is critical, that’s why we provide you with frequent reminders and updates. You can decide what type of notifications you would like to receive and by what methods - email, text, or push. To receive text notifications, you’ll need to give us permission. To do so, just log into your account, go to “Notifications” and toggle the text options to “on”.

Estimating Your Cost

Without stepping onto a scale with your bag of laundry and then subtracting your own weight, figuring out how much your laundry weighs can be tricky. We can tell you that a 13 gallon kitchen bag holds about 22 pounds of laundry - or one to two loads - but first time users often underestimate. We suggest you start small and get a feel for how great the service is and a sense of what it will cost you. We’re confident you’ll see the value but we want to make sure your first impression is a positive one. We can tell you that customers who use us regularly, generally spend about $50 per week.

Stubborn Stains

If you have stained clothing, please place it in a separate “Special Attention” bag and include a note or update your account’s “Additional Laundry Instructions” so we’ll know to give it some extra attention. And if you can, pretreat the stain as that gives us the best chance of getting it out.
