Turner Scott to lead digital marketing programs to drive increasing business for HappyNest’s laundromat operating partners across the U.S.
EAST GREENWICH, R.I. — May 19, 2022 — HappyNest, the tech-enabled laundry pickup and delivery service, has named Turner Scott as Director of Digital Marketing. Previously, he was Digital Marketing Manager at specialty home décor company, The Annie Selke Companies. Turner is charged with coordinating and executing HappyNest’s digital marketing programs to drive business for the company’s laundromat operating partners across the U.S. HappyNest has been rapidly growing, its next-day, affordable, and eco-friendly pickup and delivery laundry services now available in 35 states and Washington, D.C.
“We are delighted to have Turner join the HappyNest team to support our current and growing network of laundromat operating partners,” said John MacKrell, CEO and founder of HappyNest. “With his experience driving growth in both direct-to-consumer (DTC) ecommerce and B2B lead generation, I expect our partners to be supported with successful marketing programs as we continue making HappyNest’s pickup and delivery laundry services available everywhere customers want.”
Turner is a dedicated and agile digital marketing professional with a proven track record of successful implementation of go-to-market strategies from ideation, to execution, and evaluation. He has a true understanding of the full customer experience with an omni-channel, data-driven approach. Turner also led Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager across various sites for Buyers Edge Platform, providing accurate reporting and actionable insights.
Turner participated in HappyNest’s first annual partner meeting that the company hosted for 35+ partners from around the U.S. on April 27-29, 2022 in Newport, Rhode Island.
“HappyNest’s pickup and delivery laundry services have been a lifesaver for busy people, while also helping laundromat owners to grow their businesses with pickup and delivery,” said Turner Scott. “It’s an exciting time to join HappyNest as the company continues to reach more laundromat owners and customers nationwide. It was particularly exciting to meet so many great partners face-to-face at our first annual partner meeting. I look forward to bringing my expertise to the company in support of our mission and working with HappyNest partners across the country.”
Due to busy lifestyles, consumers are prioritizing convenience and increasingly opting for pickup and delivery laundry services to make their daily life easier. Additionally, short-staffed businesses that require laundering like spas, hair salons, Airbnb’s, fitness centers, and restaurants are increasingly outsourcing towels, bedding, and other essentials.
Valued at $60 billion in 2019, the global laundry services and dry-cleaning market is predicted to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 3.4% from 2020 to 2027.
HappyNest is a convenient, cost-effective, eco-friendly, and fast pickup and delivery laundry service sweeping the U.S. The company’s mobile app links consumers to reputable area laundromats for on-demand, customizable, next-day service. With the decline in the laundry services market due to the economic slowdown, HappyNest is giving new life to laundromats and their highly efficient washers and dryers that use 40% less energy than household appliances that would otherwise sit idle. HappyNest is a no-brainer for individuals who would rather spend time otherwise and busy employees working in laundry-heavy businesses.
