HappyNest’s partnership with Warren County COA and PACE Albany is helping more than 150 seniors remain safely and comfortably in their homes by providing reliable door-to-door laundry service that removes one of the most physically demanding household tasks.

A Commercial Business Highlight: Warren County COA & PACE Albany

For many seniors, staying in their own home depends on support with everyday tasks. Laundry is one of the biggest.

Since 2022, HappyNest has partnered with Warren County COA (Council on Aging) and PACE Albany to provide reliable laundry service that helps seniors continue living safely and comfortably at home.

Instead of struggling with heavy baskets, stairs, or laundromats, seniors in these programs have their laundry handled for them.

How The Service Works

Both organizations support seniors through structured care programs designed to help them live independently.

Every participant works with a care manager who helps oversee and coordinate portal usage and scheduled laundry service. When there’s a new client that needs laundry serviced, the process is simple.

Seniors fill out a physical laundry preference form that includes detergent choices, folding preferences, and pickup/delivery instructions along with the client’s desired weekly schedule. HappyNest will then create the new account, connecting it to an admin portal for centralized client management by case/care workers.

From there, the professionals handle the rest with scheduled door-to-door pickup, wash dry fold, and guaranteed next-day return delivery. The service is designed to be simple and convenient, especially in this case for individuals who may have mobility challenges, and our dedicated customer service team is always available to speak directly with customers should any questions arise that a case worker is unable to address.

For eligible seniors, Warren County COA and PACE Albany cover the cost of service removing a major barrier for individuals who may otherwise struggle to keep up with the costs of maintaining household laundry.

The Numbers Behind the Partnership

Since launching in 2022, this partnership has grown steadily.

Combined Impact:

7,200+ total laundry service drop-offs
88,000+ pounds of laundry processed
150+ seniors currently supported

Program Breakdown:

Warren County COA
• Serving 100+ seniors

PACE Albany
• Supporting 50+ seniors

Behind every number is a simple outcome: more seniors are able to continue living in their own homes.

Why Laundry Matters

Laundry may seem like a small task, but for seniors it can quickly become overwhelming. Carrying bags, bending, lifting, and operating machines can all create safety risks.

When that responsibility is taken off their plate, something important happens.

Seniors gain time, safety, and peace of mind.

Built to Grow

Programs like Warren County COA and PACE Albany continue to expand as more seniors need support.

Because our laundry service is built to scale, we can grow right alongside them without requiring additional equipment, staff, or infrastructure from the organization.

For care providers and senior programs, outsourcing laundry service is not just about convenience.

It is a practical way to support independence and help more seniors remain where they want to be most.

At home.
